Hi, this is Daniel, from One Percent Property, with your weekly market update coming to you on Thursday the 20th of August 2020. So, what has been going on in our local property market over the last seven days? Well, starting with the state as a whole, our beautiful state of Queensland had 1,077 sales over the last week, which is a fantastic result, lots of activity, lots of properties moving hand, really great for all homeowners in the state. We also had an auction clearance rate of 58%, which is up on last year where it was 33% at this time last year. Again, showing that we really have a strong property market, or at least a robust property market that is holding on and is not declining at this point in time. Brisbane property prices have been stable over the month so far, with a median house price of 555,000 and a medium apartment price of 384,000. So, not a lot of change there. The average time on market at the moment is 58 days, compared to 52 days at this time last year. So, again, not a lot of change there. In our inner north area, we only had 10 sales over the last week, which is obviously a little bit of reduced market activity, but that was still some cracking results. Number 63 Henry Street in Kalinga, single level and 800 square meters, that one fetched 1.265 million. 49 Park Road in Wooloowin, that one is a nice character, three gabled, a three bedroom, one bath home. That one fetched $770,000. And the big one this week was number 17 at 14th Avenue in Kedron. Four bed, two bath, absolute stunner, that one fetched 1.69 million, which is another really, really fantastic result for the suburb of Kedron and a really, really good thing if you own a home in Kedron. Congratulations to all the buyers and all the sellers involved, always great to see some really good sales happening and some fantastic results in our local area.
